This hat is beautiful. The color is exactly as pictured, a very rich burgundy; the pom pom snaps into place or can be removed; the silk inside is why I purchased this hat and it is just as described. Note that the hat is very tall from brim to tip, so empty fabric sticks out above my head. I think you'd have to have a gigantic head or a *lot* of big hair to fill out all that fabric. But it's not a reason not to buy this great hat. Thank you.
